RAWSTYLE BASS | How to Make Hardstyle Bass FL Studio | Sylenth1 Bass Tutorial Raw Hardstyle Tutorial

In this lesson you will learn how to make a rawstyle / hardstyle bass with Sylenth1. At the end of the video you can also listen to a cool euphoric rawstyle melody on top of this bass. So, make sure to watch it.

How to make a rawstyle bass

In the video I will present you a simple method how to make a rawstyle bass in FL Studio with Sylenth1. You can use this method to make basses and layer them underneath your melody or chords.

To demonstrate how the settings affect the sound, I will play with them in the video. This way you get a good impression how to create these types of basses.

If you want to copy this rawstyle bass, simply look at all the settings my mouse is pointing at.

You don’t need mixer effects to create a rawstyle bass

Sylenth1 is a versatile synthesizer that can create many different types of sounds. It also has some effect options. These effect options can be used to shape your sound a certain way. I use some of its effects to get a distorted moving rawstyle bass sound.

Because these effect options are available on Sylenth1, you often don’t need any external mixer effects. This may help to save some CPU or unnecessary bloating in your FL Studio project.

Epic rawstyle melody & chords

At the end of the video I wanted to give this bass some context. That means: melody time! The melody lead synth there is also made with Sylenth1.

To get an epic rawstyle melody, you have to know how chords work. That’s why I encourage you to check out my Hardstyle Chords lesson and also the Rawstyle Melody lesson to learn how to make it.
