HARDSTYLE KICK EXPLAINED: THE SECRET OF THE PROS… (Funny Hardstyle Kick Tutorial FL Studio)

In this lesson you’ll witness the hidden truth about hardstyle kicks nobody has ever shown. It has been kept secret since the early days of hardstyle… But now, it will be revealed! So please, pay attention, take notes and finally qualify to get your “hardstyle pro card”.

You’ll get to see a funny early hardstyle kick in FL Studio made with samples and FL Studio stock plugins. But why is it funny? Just watch the video! In the meantime, let me share the story how this video came to be…

The brain fart that made it happen

Obviously, this video is a big wink to the early hardstyle kicks, or may be even more recent hardstyle kicks. But it started as an idea because of hardstyle kick terminology, like “the bark of a kick”.

It didn’t take long before I thought “let’s try this idea!” So, I started a new FL Studio project and within a few minutes the tok (punch) and sub bass were already there. Now the real challenge: implementing some special samples.

Special hardstyle kick samples

Browsing through my sample library I found a few samples that made me laugh by the idea, so I picked those. They sounded ridiculous enough. I implemented them one by one, did a lot of tweaking, but in the end it worked out really well.

Hardstyle kick meme millionaire?

The early hardstyle kick actually sounds like a real kick. If hardstyle kick memes were viral mainstream topics, I could’ve been a YouTube millionaire by now!

But no… I’m stuck in a small lovely niche. If I’d say “hardstyle kick” to a random stranger, he would basically punch me in the face. (“punch…” Okay, I won’t make the joke.)

Anyways, I hope you get an idea of how this video came to be. Enjoy it, because that’s its purpose. If you like it, feel free to share it with your friends and give them a laugh as well.
