WHAT HARDSTYLE REALLY SOUNDS LIKE | Musical I Love Hardstyle | FL Studio Piano Roll Art Midi Art

Ever wondered what hardstyle really sounds like? In this lesson you can entertain yourself with a musical “I love hardstyle” FL Studio piano roll art (midi art).

What hardstyle really sounds like

What this means is that I’ve drawn the notes to create the text “I love hardstyle” onto the Piano Roll in FL Studio. Then I’ve picked 2 different sounds to play these notes. The result is very… special, so to speak.

In the beginning of the video, I simply use a piano sound with FL Keys, trying to make Beethoven jealous. Later in the video, I am using Sylenth1 that plays a hardstyle lead. It’s in this part where we get to know what hardstyle really sounds like.

To beef it up, I also added a hardstyle kick and created a volume sidechain effect with the hardstyle lead. When you “think” away the false notes, it actually sounds pretty raw.

Why I made this “I love hardstyle” midi art

There’s no rational reason why I’ve made this “I love hardstyle” midi art. It just serves as a creative expression for your entertainment (click for more entertaining topics).

The background of this idea actually lays in my YouTube feed. It suggested a video with a midi art drawing. I clicked on it and it really sounded like crap, but I liked the creativity a lot. So, why don’t I upload a midi art video? Well, I did…

I really enjoyed making it. Hopefully, it can give you a smile as well.

If you like these types of videos, there’s also the “What a Tornado Sounds Like” midi art lesson available on Screech House. Feel free check it out as well.
