This is the 16th in a series of 40 video lessons where I show all the settings to create a professional hardstyle screech in FL Studio, using Serum. This screech-series was released at the very beginning of Screech House.
Originally, each screech in this series could (or can) be downloaded for free. However, later I decided to pack all these 40 screeches together in a free hardstyle sample pack. If you haven’t yet, you can download this hardstyle sample pack by clicking here. There are also many other samples included, like kicks, snares, claps, etc.
Don’t forget to practice!
Now, a sample pack is awesome to get a ton of high quality samples to work with, but it doesn’t teach you to become a better producer. I encourage you to use good samples like these, but I think it’s even more important to learn how to do your own sound design. That’s why I set up a YouTube channel and this website to provide all these lessons, videos, courses and products.
Don’t just use my samples, also try to learn how I made these samples. Almost all my stuff is totally free to watch or read. So please, watch my videos, read my articles or even purchase one of my products to get tools and ideas to practice with. Only by putting in the work and applying what you’ve learned, you can get to that pro level. Thereby, use Screech House as one of your resources to get there as fast as possible.
So for this lesson, simply watch the video at the top of this page and try to pick up a thing or two. Before you know it, your screeches will sound just as brutal or even better!
