In a previous post (check it out: Showtek Hardstyle Lead), I promised to share a Showtek lead preset after reaching 1000 subscribers on YouTube. Fast forward to today and here we are.
The lead and melody feel like a Showtek remake, but are in fact 100% unique.
How to download the free lead preset?
Before you download the Showtek lead preset, follow these steps:
- The lead is made with a free plugin called “Synth1.” Just Google “Synth1” and open one of the websites.
- Find and click the download button on one of the websites. You might be redirected to the official site where you can download the latest version of the plugin.
- After downloading, install Synth1 in FL Studio’s VST directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\VstPlugins.
- When the plugin is up and running, just open the preset (.fst file) and it will load correctly.

Download the Free Showtek Lead with Synth1 here:
- Go to Downloads.
- Click Free Showtek Lead with Synth1.
The lead consists of two layers. One layer plays a higher octave and is slightly more detuned than the other, which plays a lower octave.
So, you’ll find two presets in the download, but they’re almost identical.
