In this lesson you’ll learn how to make a sweep effect in FL Studio. It’s a free sound effect, so this sweep effect sample is a free download.
You can easily create these types of sweep effects with FL Studio plugins. In this case, I used the 3x Osc and some mixer effects. Just watch the video to see it in action and view the settings.
Using the sweep effect sample
These sweeper sound effects are perfect for a hardstyle or any EDM build up. The sweep down sound of this effect is particularly useful to transition from a loud part to a quiet part of your song.
TIP: You can also reverse this sample to make a reverse sound effect. This creates a nice rising sound effect. Perfect for breaks, transitions or near the end of certain loops.
This sweep effect sample is a free download
Initially, this sweep effect sample was an individual free download. But a while after this video was made, I decided to add this sound effect to my free Hardstyle Sample Pack. Just click the link to download it. The hardstyle sample pack contains more effect samples, but also many other ones for you to use.
You can also go to my How to Make Explosion Sound Effect lesson and learn more about creating these sound effects.
