PLAYING TETRIS FL STUDIO | How to Play Tetris on Piano Roll Art | Midi Art Tetris Hardstyle Mix

In this lesson you’ll learn how to play Tetris on the Piano Roll in FL Studio. Playing Tetris in FL Studio is one of the best kept secrets. In this lesson we’re going to reveal that and add a Tetris hardstyle mix into the mix.

Tetris FL Studio hardstyle mix

Nobody really knows this, so please pay attention. It’s a hidden secret, but really easy to make it work. Just open FL Studio’s Patcher on your mixer and make a knob like I show in the video. Make it big and rename the knob to: “PLAY TETRIS”.

Now, simply turn it open and see the magic happen…

Tetris FL Studio idea

Just like my previous I love hardstyle midi art post, this one also just serves as a creative expression for your entertainment (click for more entertaining topics).

In fact, by creating a midi art project, a new idea popped into my mind. The notes you draw on the piano roll are like bricks. They are squarely shaped. The pieces in a Tetris game also consists of these squarely shapes.

So, what if I could just make Tetris shapes with these squarely bricks and create a time lapse? It would be a fun challenge.

It definitely was and it worked out pretty well. Hopefully, you had some fun with this “lesson” too.

Plugins

In this lesson, the following FL Studio stock plugins were used:
